Exciting joint challenge at Middlesex University

4energy group is proud to announce a significant new relationship with Middlesex University and Claremore Mechanical Services Limited involving both System Five’s Service Team and analytics4energy which will see us work across the entire campus.

Middlesex University in Hendon, northwest London serves 19,000 students. Courses are delivered by the Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Professional and Social Sciences, and the Faculty of the Arts and Creative Industries. Over £200m has been invested to transform the University into one of London’s biggest campuses.

The Ritterman Building is one of the University’s newest developments and it provides over 3,300 square metres of teaching space and is home to the UK’s first ‘Cyber Factory’. Its design incorporates sustainable technologies including solar panels, a bio-diverse green roof, and living walls irrigated by rainwater harvesting.

The Service Team will be providing a Planned Preventive Maintenance service working on the University’s Trend based BEMS over a minimum of three years.

The analytics4energy team will be working with the University using halo – our in-house cloud-based analytics system which will create unique and user-friendly energy-monitoring interfaces to help the University understand and, most importantly, control its energy use and associated cost.

The two teams are excited at the challenge to improve the University’s operational energy performance and to identify and deliver longer term capital improvements.
