Baroque style Heythrop Park re-opens as a luxury hotel

System Five is proud to have been working with MCS Ltd who are specialist building services engineers, and renowned main contractor Overbury at Heythrop Park Resort in Oxfordshire.

Heythrop Park is a Grade II listed early 18th-century country house on a 440-acre site, designed by the architect Thomas Archer in the Baroque style. Its most recent incarnation is as a luxury hotel following an extensive redevelopment by its new owner Warner Leisure Hotels. It features 337 rooms, 3 restaurants, a Spa & Wellness Centre, conference facilities and 2 theatres.

System Five engineers have upgraded legacy Trend Control Systems panel controls from IQ3 to IQ4, installed new panels with IQ4 and provided an IQvision head end. Additionally, we re-commissioned existing plant and controls where appropriate, and provided options to the client on improving the control regimes to suit the new hotel operations.
