High-end office development focused on sustainability and staff wellbeing

System Five is proud to have been selected by MCS Ltd to join the team working at 3 St Helen’s Place in the heart of the City of London. The project is a total refurbishment by The Leathersellers Company and Collins Construction Ltd, designed by leading architects, Buckley Gray Yeoman. Its Georgian, low-rise exterior are in stark contrast to the ultra-modern hi rise buildings that surround it.

The Leathersellers Company is one of the livery companies of the City of London, originating in the fourteenth century. It continues to act as an advocate for the UK leather trade, but today it is primarily involved in philanthropic, charitable, social mobility and educational activities.

The completed building will provide a 30,000 ft2 high-end office development which is centred on sustainability and staff wellbeing – with openable windows, new fresh air and air conditioning systems and has received a BREEAM excellent rating.

System Five engineers have utilised a Trend Control Systems IQ4 system to provide control and monitoring of the a/c system as well as ventilation and a smoke control system.
