New Uniqlo store to open in much anticipated Battersea Power Station relaunch

System Five’s Projects team are proud to be working with IntegraIQ Ltd, an independent M&E specialist, at Battersea Power Station, the iconic Grade II listed building which is being brought back to life as an innovative mixed-use neighbourhood consisting of a blend of restaurants, shops, parks and cultural spaces.

The project at Battersea is to install a Distech Controls based BEMS system in the 15,000 sq. ft flagship store of Japanese casualwear giant Uniqlo. Our engineers are using services from the central plant, LTHW and CHW to feed a fan coil system which will ensure the comfort of Uniqlo shoppers and staff.

Whist working at Battersea it has been heartening to see that the overall scheme has retained some of the existing plant such as the reactor generators and overhead cranes as a historical nod to the buildings original use as a power station.
