Congratulations to Newson’s Yard and its talented team of creators for recently being awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the 2024 Architects’ Journal Retrofit and Reuse Awards.
System Five were proud to have been a member of this team that produced an exceptional retail and residential development in Belgravia on the site of the oldest timber yard in London which was first established in 1840.
Engineers from System Five provided a BEMS for Newson’s Yard which manages ventilation requirements and domestic services along with extensive electric, water and gas metering, as well as a design for blinds to provide automatic shading to help to control the environment in the most energy efficient manner possible.
